Just listened to "Life Lines" for the first time. Languid...and lovely. It may be one of my new faves!

Here's some interesting trivia about "Raven and the Dove":
1) The opening melody was a tune that I really liked, that I thought maybe I discovered/came up with on my own, but later, after I fell in love with the Beatles, discovered it's identical to "Norwegian Wood". I'm guessing my roommate played this on the piano or something and it somehow stuck in my head. I also had a second melody that I was considering as the opening tune of the song, but Norwegian Wood won out. I can still remember the melody. It's a little more complex, but in the same meter over the same chords.
2) The instrumental part around 1:34 was inspired by a section of the solo violin part of Samuel Barber's violin concerto, just before the orchestra collapses into chaos. The chords are (roughly) based on stacked fourths. Gives it an interesting sound.
