“Visions, Dreams, and Nightmares” is done at last. This album has been in the works for a long
time; various ideas for these songs originated as many as five years ago. We spent a lot of time perfecting each song, exchanging ideas, and refining the music. I can easily say that this is FT’s best, most complete, and perfect album to date. There are always things that I would have liked to change in every album from the past…but there’s virtually nothing on this one that I would change. It’s my favorite and our best to date. It’s also one of the longest. With 11 songs, the length is about fifty-five minutes. The album contains a wide range of songs. From the very mellow “Lifelines” to the rhythmically exuberant “Lord of Liquid Sky”, this album also contains two instrumentals as well as a remake of one of FT’s oldest songs from our early high school days. The instrumentation is rich, the songs are mature, and the lyrics are poetic. Enjoy “Visions, Dreams, and Nightmares”.
